Safer Car Seats - flame retardant free

What Makes Car Seats "Toxic"?

Flame Retardants.

Many carseat fabrics contain flame retardents which can cause endocrine and thyroid disruption, immunotoxicity, reproductive toxicity, cancer, and adverse effects on fetal/child development and neurobehavioral function (NIH).

There are certain fabrics that meet flammability standards WITHOUT the use of flame retardant chemicals - you just have to know what to look for.
